On January 18th, 2012, I ran for {pretty much} the first time in my life.  Since then I’ve gone from hating running {and totally screaming into the pavement} to loving running and yearning for me time on the seawall.

Now life is about continuing to push forward. I run. I race. I powAH yoga it up. I continually push myself to improve — whether that be breath, discipline or distance. Running has taught me what it feels like to be physically and mentally strong — and for that I feel blessed.

Strong is the new skinny.
